GOT LUNCH! is excited to announce another year of the summer healthy lunch program that will be free to all Campton and Thornton school children. Our goal is to fill the gap for families that qualify for free or reduced price lunches during the school year (35% in Thornton, 50% in Campton), but that is NOT requirement for participation.
This program receives no government funds and is supported by grants, fundraising, and gifts from the community. All program positions are volunteer. Campton started GOT LUNCH in 2013 by providing over 2000 lunches to 49 children from 21 families. In 2014, Thornton and Campton joined together to become GOT LUNCH! Campton-Thornton. Since then, our program has delivered more than 16,000 lunches to area children during the weeks of summer vacation at no cost to their families.

We are inviting agencies, businesses, and individuals to assist in this program. Children are hungry in our towns, and we can help.

Each Monday morning during the school summer vacation, we gather at the Campton Congregational Church to pack and deliver a week’s worth of healthy lunch groceries. We estimate the cost per child to be $100 for the summer. We are grateful for our partnership with the NH Food Bank and our local grocers at Campton Cupboard, Campton Corner’s Convenience and Smiley's Produce which helps us to keep the cost as low as possible.
