Welcome to GOT LUNCH! Campton-Thornton!
This community collaboration has been providing lunches to school aged children since 2013. For those school-age children in the Campton-Thornton area who are eligible for free or reduced-cost breakfast and lunch during the school year, until GOT LUNCH!, there was not a program in place to ensure that these kids receive adequate nutrition during the summer months. Following the lead of other communities, parents (in collaboration with Campton Elementary and Thornton Central School) and community partners are continuing this summer lunch program to meet the nutritional gap for our local kids.
We invite any organizations or individuals to participate with us by volunteering or donating to this critical program. We welcome any who are interested in supporting this very worthy effort. We will be posting updates at this website and look forward to making this a true community effort on behalf of our children!
